Aluminum conductor steel reincforced ACSR Panther (AL30/3.0mm, ST7/3.0mm) EN50182
ACSR conductors are widely used for long distance power transmission as they are ideal for long overhead line spans. They are also used as conveyor belts to support overhead cables. By varying the relative proportions of aluminum and steel, the properties required for any particular application can be achieved. Higher antistatic properties can be obtained by increasing the steel content, and higher current carrying capacity can be obtained by increasing the aluminum content.
